Strategic Biking and Hiking Information Gathering

Categories:

Hiking (walking) and biking are about the most common forms of exercise and perhaps the oldest forms of transportation in the world today. Our hiking and biking programs offer the fun, excitement, and physical exhilaration of being out in the woods with a group of co-workers and colleagues.

This seminar presents the challenge of meeting strategic goals in a mentally demanding atmosphere with the purpose of meeting objectives in a timely manner. This program has been designed to provide an ambitious challenge for corporate employees of all ages and physical conditions.

Methodology:

In order to orchestrate the gathering of necessary information from "out in the field" by those that have never been out in the field, it is necessary for the middle managers (bicyclists and the hikers) to use all the new skills that the teams have gained thus far. The middle managers can only succeed by coordinating their work with the strategic headquarters/executive offices.

Major communication problems must be overcome and creative problem solving will be necessary to create the system of signals needed to finish the task. Each team must coordinate efforts to gather the strategic information Only by gathering and transporting all the required information back at the headquarters can the entire team gain access to the secret message that will ultimately improve the companies performance, morale and bottom line, and of course win the competition.

Objectives:

To get all the pieces of the information puzzle back to the main headquarters first, and discover the secret message that will help the company bottom line.
